What do the following Girl's Names make you think of as far as a Profession Is concerned?
Anything. Your name doesn't define who you are. Any of those names can be a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, a mother, an engineer, a truck driver, a garbage collector, a stripper, or a prisoner. It's how you raise them and the influences of their environment that will shape their personality and career goals. And I love all the names, except for Abbey. I'd go with Kyla Rachelle if I were you. Good luck!
Reply:i'm sorry. i don't look at names and think of professions...any person with any name can be anything as far as i'm concerned.
Reply:As far as profession, ARIELLE IS BEAUTIFUL!
I love Kyla, but that would take her though her teen years.
Amelia sounds old-fashioned
The others are not my faves.

My friends and I all named our girls the same name without knowing! What should I call her?
Myself and three other friends all named our daughters Cali, Kaly, Kali, and Kally. (Can you tell we mothers are all California girls?) My daughter's full name is Kalyssa but I named her that in compromise with her father so I could call her Kaly. What should I do?
My friends and I all named our girls the same name without knowing! What should I call her?
get new friends
Reply:I agree with Meg.
Reply:if the four of you were all friends how can you NOT know what you are naming your children?? if you aren't close enough for that, then I doubt there are going to be many instances when all four Kalis are together!
Reply:Kalyssa is a beautiful name. Dont change it. I agree with Amarie, just call her Kalyssa or Lyssa, somethin different from the names ur friends chose for their kids. Good Luck!
Reply:i love the name
Reply:call her Lyssa as well as Kaly.
Reply:It does not sound as if the 4 of you are really that close if you all named your babies the same name without knowing it. When I was pregnant, "what to name the baby?" was a pretty hot topic of conversation when I either met up with my friends or talked with them. All my close friends knew the names we had picked out and I knew the baby names my friends had chosen as well. Didn't you go to each others baby showers? I just can't imagine all 4 of you are close so it seems unlikely you'll all be together at one time. Even if you all were, it won't be like you'll mix your kids up. I don't see any real problem with this situation. Call your daughter by her full name if it seems to cause confusion when you are together, but I don't think you'll need to. You may simply need to add a bit more clarification if talking to someone about another Kali by saying something like "Jen's daughter Kali got her first tooth." I'd just chalk it up to the "great minds think alike" theory when you are together and get a good chuckle out of it,
Reply:Am wondering what this tells me about California girls ... hmmm ... and oh dear, oh very dear ....
Use her middle name? Change her name by deed poll to something nice?
How about Caroline?
Reply:Just call her her name, that isn't bad. Maybe they'll even become bestest of friends. Lol.
Reply:Kalyssa is so pretty. I would call her that. But if you are stuck on using a nickname, keep it the way it is. Don't change for other people.
Reply:What do you mean what should you do. Call your daughter by the same name you always have. Who cares, what others name their kids.
Reply:I do not understand

How could you not know?
Pronounce it Kaa-lissa.
Call her Lyssa.
Reply:Um continue to call her by her name, why should you call her something different just because others named their daughter that?
That was the first gift you ever gave her, do not take it away.
Call he by her full name-it is beautiful.
Reply:I like "who's sarcastic"s answer haha. but ya, just call her what you wanted her to be called when she was born. meg's right too. And that's a beautful name you chose for her!!
Reply:Dont change for her friends
Reply:Call her by her name. Not like she'll never run into another girl with that name on her life. And how do you and your friends name your kids the same thing without knowing? I knew what my friends were naming their kids long before delivery day...these aren't very close friends, are they?
Reply:I love the name Alyssa and Kalyssa sounds great too.

Use her middle name? Change her name by deed poll to something nice?
How about Caroline?

I need help picking a girls name?
I am expecting my second child in July and I am having a hard time coming up with a name for her. My oldest child is named Maliyah. I was thinking of naming this little one Nataliyah. Any suggestions?
I need help picking a girls name?
I like the name Maile, its a Hawaiian name that means fragrant vine. That was one of the choices for my daughter's middle name but her dad chose Makenzie. But hey that's a good M on too. :)
Reply:In my opinion, it's too close to your first child's name. 6 letters are exactly the same.
Reply:Yeah, Nataliyah is too difficult and, it's stupid naming your children "Maliyah and Nataliyah" - it's like Aaron and Erin...
go with something THEY can live with: my daughter's name is Kirsten Rochelle - and she is as beautiful as it sounds.
Reply:Hi congrats on your upcoming addition to your family! I think Nataliyah is too similar to Maliyah. I like Sophia and Mackenza. Wish you well.
Reply:Juliette
Reply:Beautiful name, but spell it right.
It's Natalia.
Reply:Some that really like could be for either sex.. I really like
Rory Rae
Riley
and Corey
Reply:I wouldn't because it's different but very similar to your first daughters name. If you are looking for a different name Savannah (open heart) Rayne (helpful friend). It's kinda african, but it's unique
Shaylin (pretty) Reese (vivacious)
Raquel (sensual) leena (siren)
Tyrea (thunder) Promise (sincere)
(meanings) of course you knew that. Good luck. I like my names to be different hope this helps
Reply:Thalia Nicole is an awesome name!
Reply:I love the name Payton for a girl. I do like nataliyah too. I was going to use Payton but someone stole it from me. So we changed our name. Good luck

Reply:what about Tagnee is unique, i rarely heard that name, what do you think?
Reply:thats a nice name but i think it is very similar to ur first borns name
Reply:Do you think the second child would like to have a name that is so similer to her older sister's? Even if they're pronounced very differently, they still look almost the same!
Reply:Natalie? Ava? Mia?
Reply:I personally don't have any children, but I have two nieces, one is named Nevaeh. It is heaven spelled backwards. It has a special meaning to my sister she is into the biblical words. Just a suggestion, hope you like it.
Reply:I like bella for a girl...just my opinion but I think its cute.
or chloe
caydence is a cute name too..
really just depends on your personality.
Reply:How about Julianna?
Reply:What about NARITA?
Reply:Well i went with the fad of a unique name but i also wanted something from the family. So my little girls first name is Linda after my sister and my grandmother and her middle name is Hermione (Her..my...oh...knee) yes...like harry potter. And our last name...since we wanted her to have a unique name we call her by her middle name and use her first name for records and doc appointments so that she knows that she always has the option of useing either one.
Reply:I love picking out names. My first daughters name is ANNASTASIA PHEOBE MARIT SULLIVAN (marit is marie spelled in the french language). It took us forever to figure out what we were going to name her. At first it was going to be Picabo (peek a boo). Then I fell in love with Maci..then we picked out annastasia...The funny thing is we didnt tell anyone what we were going to name her until after she was born..IT was so HARD....but we did it...And when I have another child we will do the same...
Just a little cool fact! The way we have spelled Annastasia's name is unique...You can not find this spelling anywhere! Everyone else spells it with one N not two! :)
representing the uniqueness of names! whoohoo

Phoenix Jessica Claire
Phoenix Olivia Eden
Phoenix Alexis Shae

Phoenix Eva Claire
Phoenix Ava Marie
I don't know if these will sound good not knowing the last name?
Congrat's and Good-Luck :)
Reply:Why not give her a 3rd middle name, I mean what the heck are you thinking? More is better? In some countries they only go by one name, or a first and a last, but a total of 4? Your probably one of those overbearing parents.
Reply:phoenix sounds like a porn stars name, how about going with something more main stream. i bet you are white also, only whites try extremely hard at giving their kids the most ridiculous name.
p.s. i am a white male, so i can get away with saying that.
Reply:Phoenix is horrid for a child, more so for a girl. It's masculine sounding, and would be better for a boy.
Find a better first name before looking for middles.

There's something about the name "Sheherazad" that is so exotic and feminine in a rich fashion.
