What do you think of these names for girls?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not pregnant or anything... haha. I'm just curious because I mainly hear these names for guys. What do you think of the name Skylar and the name Tenil (pronounced more like Tenneille)?

What do you think of these names for girls?
They are nice names. I would associate those names more with girls than I would guys. I have heard the name Tenil with girls more than I have with guys. In fact, I have never heard of a guy with either one of those names.

Reply:I am biased as my ex-boyfriends dos name was Skylar, so it will forever be a dogs name to me. Also Tenil reminds me of Captain and Tennile.
Reply:Skylar is used quite a bit. If you're looking for unusual, Tennille is different and pretty. I have'nt heard that name since the Captain and Tennille.

Reply:Well, Skyler is a name I've heard for girls--it's pretty asexual. As for Tenil, Tenneille was a woman (is?)--Everybody who grew up in the 70s in the US knew who The Captain and Tenneille were! I've never heard that as a male name.
